About Us
Established in 1983, Dale Flokstra attended the Mason City College of Auctioneering in Mason City, Iowa. One week later Dale conducted his first Public Auction – and it has only been growing since. He conducted over 30 auctions this past year!
His purpose and goal is to put our Clients first and to please the customer. This holds true for the entire staff of DALES’ AUCTIONEERING SERVICE LLC. Dale is pleased to have 7 dependable employees that work side by side with him. The staff is very dedicated to their work in assisting wherever needed. This is one reason for the success of the business – people caring for others!
In the Fall of 1992 the first annual Farm Consignment Auction was held, followed the next Spring with the same. This too has grown to having over 200 consignors bringing in their equipment from all over the state of Michigan. The auction has approx. 1200 lots to be sold. To make this happen, an addition 20 staff people are hired, with 3 auction rings going. Buyers and sellers come from Michigan, Indiana, & Ohio. It is a highlight to many satisfied farmers who return year after year.
DALES’ AUCTIONEERING SERVICE LLC also conducts general consignment auctions at the Overisel Community Hall on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month. Many come out for a night of buying and selling in the comfort of a warm auditorium with plenty of good seating.
